About Me

Learning Clay Arts at local West Baltimore non-profits!

Hej! Hey! Hi!

I’m Shantika (she/her), a current junior at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. I am majoring in Public Health and doing a minor in Marketing & Communications. I love to explore nature, listen to k-pop, cook different foods, take picture, and learn about art & cultures.

While I always saw myself studying abroad, I never expected to choose Denmark. I have never been international for this long before so I am excited to grow. The theme for my study abroad is focused on finding peace within myself (my name means peace but I wouldn’t consider myself peaceful LOL). My goal is to explore Copenhagen to the fullest, find new hobbies, practice self-love, and make new friends.

My core class is Positive Psychology and I am excited to learn more about mental well-being and happiness. My elective courses are Creative Industries: Business, Innovation, Politics, and Culture, Health Economics and Health Policy in Europe, Healthcare Strategies for At-Risk Populations, and Travel Writing.
